Just tell the story

Where’s your resume?

I work with people to help them manage change.  When things go well, they produce results that they weren't able to produce on their own.  This is a common outcome. What are you waiting for?

Nothing can make you happy!   This is a very positive and hopeful statement. Nothing can make you happy.  It's possible.   If you let it be. Most of us are waiting for someone or something to make us happy.  I'll be happy when I get the raise, the business is profitable, my marriage is fun, my kids go to school, I get a promotion, I get married, I get a new car, we get the bigger house, I get pregnant, I lose 10 lbs ... Is your job beneath you?

I had a job as a mail clerk after college.  I worked 60 hours and made $17,000 - that included 5 hours of mandatory overtime (we weren't allowed a lunch hour).  There were times I would get down on myself.  I'd get caught up in what other people thought of me because of my job.  I tied my job to my value.  I felt the job was beneath me.  I'd get stuck and depressed when I lived in that place.
